Mini Lunch Sack Treat Holder

Joy chocolate treat

Do you hate to throw things away?   For example our buttons or brad containers?  I am always stashing stuff like that away because I know I can find a use for it some day :)  Go with me here...I know some of you can relate!

So, long story short I made this little candy holder out of the leftover piece from the Mini Lunch Sack.  I cut the lunch sack at 4-3/8 for the Treat Bag and the piece leftover is for this project. It holds a gift card perfectly and it will even hold a Ghirardelli chocolate or a Hershey/Kit Kat Bar.

I used Early Espresso card stock with Very Vanilla. I embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and sponged some Soft Suede over it (my replacement for close to cocoa or creamy caramel).  Next I sponged some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint over it.

The "Joy at Christmas" is from the Perfect Punches stamp set & I stamped it twice. I punched the center out with the 1-1/4 Circle Punch & added it with a Dimensional.  Did you see the little pearl?

I've made a video on how to make the one for my Halloween Class, click here if you'd like to watch it on my Chic n Scratch Live! website.

Here's the version I shared on UStream.
