I made this card for Chase yesterday. He’s getting some additional hardware in his mouth on Thursday and I’m giving him this card.
There’s a little story behind the words….( the words are not Stampin’ Up! but the rocket is!!!) When Chase was little, pretty much since he was born, I always told him that I loved him to the Moon & back, we also read "Goodnight Moon" so many times I could actually recite the book without opening it (I miss those days :(( So, long story short, when A Muse came out with this word stamp I had to buy it…..guess it’s a good thing Stampin’ Up! came out with the Pun Fun stamp set!!!
Today’s a super busy day… hope you have a good one!
Stamps: Pun Fun by Stampin Up and sentiment by A Muse
Ink: Black Stazon, Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky & Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou & Shimmery White
Tools & Accessories: Aqua Painter, Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon & Stampin’ Dimensionals
Oh this is so cute! I know that’s not something a boy would say, but I couldn’t help myself! I really like the color combo, too. You’re such a good Mom!

Angie,
Your site is awesome! Your cards are frequently simple and elegant. I love coming here to see what you’ve posted! Thanks for sharing.
Great card! It’s so crazy how quickly we can memorize books!
Oh my goodness – I didn’t realize there was a stamp that had that phrase. My mom told us that all the time and I tell my kids those very same words. It’s funny because they will both out of the blue tell me the same thing. I love your card and color combo too! What an awesome mom you are!! – Shelly
Love the card! And that saying, it just melts my heart:) I hope everything went well today for Chase & Brooke:) (Hugs)
I have to get that A Muse stamp! I loved reading “Guess How Much I Love You” to my kids, too. It still chokes me up! Thanks for sharing!
I LOVED YOUR STORY MY DAUGHTER IS 14 AND WE HAVE SAID THE SAME THING EVER SINCE WE READ THAT BOOK WHEN SHE WAS LITTLE. A FEW MONTHS AGO I WENT INTO KOHLS AND THEY HAD THE MOMMA AND BABY BUNNY WELL I KNEW SHE JUST HAD TO HAVE IT. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT STAMP. THANKS FOR MAKING ME SMILE TODAY.
another great one!!! Fortunately for me I still get to read Goodnight Moon every now and then…little Hayden is now 4 so he’s definitely getting “over it” if you know what I mean! I googled Herbst and it looks awful. I feel for you and your kids! It’s so hard seeing your children in pain. I do hope it works perfectly for Brooke and corrects whatever the problem is and a year from now you’ll be glad it’s over for both of them!
Amanda
That reminds me of my favorite story I used to read to my kids, “How much I Love You”, which ends with the little bunny finally falling asleep just before he tells his dad, “I Love You to the Moon”, but then the daddy says, and “I Love You all the way to the Moon and Back!”
