Change in Plans

I always have the best intentions ……but I've fallen short again.  I think maybe I should be learning something from this but I'm not sure what.  Oh well, moving on.  My plan was to offer some major blog candy this weekend.  But between Dave being sick and everything else I've not been able to post the details. So, we'll improvise.

If you'd like to win a copy of the five pages (Hippo, Lion, Ladybug, Reindeer & Bear) of my punch book leave a comment on this post.  I'll draw a name on Tuesday.   And, I have a small favor….I need some testimonials for my Chic Stand.  I've gotten hundreds of emails about how much you all love it.  But, when I get a comment that says "It just looks like foam" or "whats the big deal" …it throws me for a loop.  So, if you have the Chic Stand and want to post your comment about that it would be great.  I'm going to compile them and create a spot on my blog for them.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see ya on Tuesday.

I would love to have the 5 punch pages you are offering! You do such a wonderful job on your videos & all of your projects. The pages would be a bonus for me!! The animals are just too cute!

  2. Kadie Labadie

Hi Angie! Count me in on your 5-punch page give-away!

As for your Chic Stand……I have an original ChicStand that I PROUDLY display on my craft desk and always travels with me to my crops and mania’s. It is always the talk of the room when I’m crafting-someone always comes up and ask me “what’s that?” – then you will hear squeals of JOY when they realize it holds my paper piercer and needle. Angie-you designed a fabulous tool and someday….I’ll breakdown and buy one of your new stands…..LOVE THEM! Kadie

  3. Hi Angie, I also really like the Chic Stand. I bought the new one. I previously used a hand punch to make the holes but found it hard to center them. Having the Chic Stand with my needles and paper piercer on my craft table is a time saver and the holes are always centered. Thank you!

  4. Jerri Ann

The Chic Stand is a wonderful and very useful TOOL!

  5. Cathy Jenquin

I recently discovered your blog and love it. I check it everyday because I don’t want to miss anything.

These punched animals are absolutely adorable! I hope to make a few this weekend.

  6. Barbara Joyce

    Hi Angie,

Thank you again for these wonderful punch art animals. Each one is cuter than the last! I’d love to win the pages, but even if I don’t, I will use the videos and have such fun. Of course, this means I need to order more punches!

You are so generous to share these adorable ideas with us!

  7. Leslie Jones

I don’t have a chicstand, but I can tell you what I would love about it. It’s on my wishlist.
I love that the needle or paper piercer stands up in the chicstand, which it can’t in other piercing mats. Plus, I love that it makes putting brads in much easier, by being thick enough to pierce a hole and then push the brad through without ever picking up the paper.

  8. Wilda Cogar

    Your punch animals are adorable!!!
I love how you are so willing to share w/ the rest of us.
I don’t have the stand but I’ve debated on ordering it for awhile. I think I’m more convinced now :)

  9. Shirley

I would love to win the 5 punch animal give away and if I don’t win will will buy one.

About you chic stand I have the original one and I love it and I have order the new one also.

Keep up the good work Angie.

  10. Angie, I love your cute animals!

  11. Debbie Hughes

    Debbie H.

  12. Karen Monger

The punches that you offer are the best. I love them. Please enter me in the drawling for them.

I have bought 2 of your Chick Stand’s and I love them they are the best. It makes life a whole lot easier. Thank you so much for making them. It’s a great idea.

Thanks again for everything you do.

I hope your husband gets better soon.

  13. Angelica

I really like your work. I allways expect something new everymorning.
You and your work make me a beautiful day.

    Thanks very much.

  14. Darlene

I love all the punch critters – especially the teddy bear and the lion.
Also, RE: the Chic Stand – I think it’s a great idea. Mine sits on my table at all times so that I know exactly where my piercers are. I don’t worry about losing them or (yikes) getting pricked by them – um, yes, my work table sort of disappears under all the paper bits & completed embellies, embossing powders, glitter, well, you know. I also use it for centering circular pieces that I want lined up correctly. I thoroughly used my first Chic Stand, then turned it over and completely used that side, too. Now I’m on my second one!
Hope your husband feels better SOON. I know that it’s difficult when your significant other is out of action. My husband is out for the next few months with a broken foot. So hang in there :-)

  15. Judy Boggs

    Hi Angie,
These Punch animals are adorable!! I love to send get well cards to people on the prayer list at our church. It’s hard to think of something appropriate for children. These are perfect for my kid cards. I would be ecstatic if I were to win a copy of your animal punch pages. Thank you for a chance to win. And, thanks for sharing ALL your wonderful ideas.
    Judy B.

  16. Denise

I have the first chic stand and luv it. Haven’t ordered the new one–yet! I could see if the new one is larger then that would be a great improvement, however the older one is “travel” size so it’s great to take along to crops, etc.
Luv, Luv, Luv the punch animals. I can’t imagine why anyone would say “what’s the big deal?”. I totally appreciate your creativity and most of all the fact that you share it with all of us all the time. Thanks a million!!

  17. Shawness

I would love the punch pages. I don’t have a chic stand but I am sure it is a wonderful tool.

  18. Samantha

I just found your blog a couple of days ago and am HOOKED! These punch animals are too cute!!! Im going to order and chic stand too…It looks so functional!
    Thanks for everything!

  19. Susan

I love your punch art animals! And I have to second what everyone has said about the Chic Stand – I have the first version and I use it ALL the time, for my paper piercing needs!

    Susan, aka Soozie4Him on SCS

  23. Phyllis

I LOVE punches!…….. My husband calls me the Punch Queen
I’m always looking for fun ways to use them. You have some wonderful ideas. To win something is always fun but to win Punch Book pages would be the best.

  24. Emma

I think those little punch animals are adorable being that I am an animal lover myself.

Now about your chicstands, I absolutely love them, “WHEN” I rise above this horrible recession we are going through, I do plan on purchasing a chic stand for everyone who takes my classes as one of their thank you gifts for supporting me. That means that I would have to purchase “13” of them. I know they will appreciate them as much as I do!
    Emma :)

  25. gloria

Angie I follow your blog dialy and always love the tutorials!!! the punched animals are so cute. My favorite is the ladybug> I soooooo want to win this!!!! Thanks!

  26. Nadine

    Hi Angie,

I think that I have bought almost all the punches since I love creating items that I find on the web and some of my own…Now for the Chic Stand–I have a old one and a new one LOVE both–my Great Niece comes over to do some crafts and asked me what they were –I explained and showed her and now she tells her Mom and Dad–I have to go to Auntee’s cause she had all the neat things–Chickee Stands and markers so I just love them and love you too for creating them and sharing with all of us…

    Kudos to you Angie!!

  27. bunnyc

hi, you’ll always have some negativity out there. I don’t own a chic stand but it doesn’t look like foam to me. Have them stick a piercing tool…….. in foam and see if it stands up. lol I couldn’t resist. Keep up the good work!!

  28. Carolyn Y

I love your video tutorials, and never get tired of seeing your punched animals. I hope I can win the 5 punched pages. As for the chic stand, I bought the new one and I love it. Before I bought one, my paper piercer would roll around my table.

  29. Patti Pennock

I would love to have a copy of the pages. I just love your site, I come here every day.

    Patti Pennock

  30. I love all of the punch animals, I am trying to write down each of the punches, but your blog candy would really help. :)

  31. Tracy Settles

    would love to win.
I have the chic stand and use it just about everytime I craft. It’s lightweight so it’s easy to use. I’m able to punch the holes exactly where I want them because of the black background. I think the new size is perfect.

  32. cathier

Your punch animals are so stinkin’ cute!! Your creativity never ceases to amaze. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

  33. Peggy Maier

Add me to the list to win the punch pages! This is such a great idea.

  34. anita

  39. Wow! I would love to have your punch tutorials, thanks so much for the chance!

  40. Hi Angie,

I just love my Chic Stand! I use it more than I ever thought I would. I purchased two of them, but have been using my first one for about 6 months with lots of life still in it. I am so glad that you made them available. It’s kinda special having a piece of chicnscratch in my stampin’ room – it reminds me that a lot of what I’ve learned has come from your videos, and it continues to inspire me. Thank you for being willing to share your love of stamping. It truly is contagious!

Thanks for offering the blog candy. Your punch pages are adorable. Thanks for creatin’ and sharin’.

    Stampin’ Hugs,

  41. Melissa Hicks

I LOVE the chic stand…I purchased a new one and it is a very useful tool. Glad I made the purchase.

  42. Karen I

I would love to have your punch sheets. My twin girls have been watching your videos and we have been madly punching and pausing it to make all the animals. How great it would be to make some sets to give to friends to put together, or even for the class when my girls start Kindergarden in the fall. Hope I win!

  43. Your punch animals are the CUTEST! I follow your blog(s) and absolutely LOVE them. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

  44. Lori Lauterbach

I would love to win! I don’t own a chick stand, but they look neat! Phooey on those people who are so rude and make comments like they do! Delete them! You have a wonderful website and always have outstanding and inspiring designs and ideas! Plus, it is always a treat when someone posts a how-to-video. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

  45. Karen T

I’m stil lovin’ all the punch animals and would love to have the book. My chick stand makes it so easy to use my piercing tool. I also use it to hold pins that hold the ends of my ribbon to the role. Before I was always looking on the floor for them but now I know exactly where they are when I’m finished with my ribbon. Thanks!

  46. Debbie, Virginia

These new punch ideas are AWESOME! I can’t thank you enough for all the time and effort you put into your blog, tutorials and videos! I look forward to waking up everyone morning and reading my devotional and Chic n’ Scratch email!!! Thanks! And have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!!

  47. Judy Hopping

Good Grief….who wouldn’t love the punch pages. They are like everything else you do – awesome. Giggles, I am just a happy camper to have your blog back working on Google Reader. Judy

  48. Nikki Harris

I think your punch animals are great.

I have your new Chic Stand. I love it and plan to purchase a second for my daughter. She keeps taking mine off my desk to use when she scraps, and I am not enjoying the hunt to get it back. :)

  49. Stacey F

Hi Angie. I have only had my chic stand for a month and now I’m wondering how in the world did I live without it! We all know it works well for piercing those scalloped edges but the one thing that I love is being able to pierce the sides of a paper basket for my brad on the handle you can’t do that with the mat from the mat pack.

  50. I like your blog for the way your personailty shines through as much as I like it for all the fab projects. I haven’t met you but I still feel as if I know you. Thanks for sharing.

  51. Deanna

    Hi Angie!
I discovered your blog a few months ago and I’m addicted! I check it daily for new and EASY ideas to try that are so cute. I wish I lived near you to join in on your clubs. I’d love to win this! I started my own punch book, but haven’t added these animals yet, so it would be great to win it!! I don’t have a chic stand, but have considered purchasing one just from watching your video about how to use it. Thanks for your blog!

  52. Jane Cummiskey

Hi Angie, The punch animals are so very cute! I very much appreciate your willingness to share your creativity and your blog is the first site I go to whenever I sit down at the computer. Thanks!!

I use the Chick Stand for all my paper piercing. It is so much easier than a punch as you can ALWAYS get the hole exactly where you want it. I keep it on my work surface within reach. They also makes nice gifts for my stamping buddies!

  53. Cynthia carter

Love to win too! I have the new Chic Stand and it’s saved me having to purchase a special paper piercing mat set and tools. I just use a large doll needle that stands in the stand. Love it!

  54. Sherry Conrad

Hi Angie, I’ve been following your blog for a while now and love your cards and other goodies. I think you animals are the greatest. I’d be proud to win them.

  55. PennyH

I love the chick stand. It is way easier and more convenient that using a hand held punch.

  56. Mary

The little punch animals that you have shared with all of us are so cute and would also look GREAT on a zoo scrapbook page too!! I have the original Chic Stand and it makes piercing paper, nice and thick, you don’t have to worry about hurting the table that you are working on! I like the size of it too!

  57. Sandy Fleming

The Chic Stand is the best invention yet! What a perfect tool for piercing. You can pierce ANYWHERE. You are not limited to only a certain reach. I love that I can store my piercer right in it–it’s always ready to use. GREAT invention!

Thank you for the chance to win a copy of your punch book. I think this us just a wonderful idea!

  58. I love the ‘critters’ that you have created with the punches. My DH and DD are always giving me grief regarding the number of punches I own and wanting to know what I do with all of them. I DID have Chic Stand that a friend gifted me with but someone thought it was a sponge for inking and borrowed it. I need to order another. Thanks so much for sharing all your beautiful work with us!

  59. Yvonne Sutton

    Hello Angie,
I just love all your tutorials. I have a Stampin Up mat pad but after seeing how you just whip out the “Chic Stand” and add that special touch I had to have one. It’s really convienent to have it on my workspace with in reach. You are such an inspiration. Thanks.

Am planning on ordering a chic stand! Thanks again. Hope David is feeling better. God Bless. Karen

  67. Mindy Ward

    Hi Angie,
Hope hubby is feeling better soon!! I would love a chance to win the 5 punch pages. You are always so organized, I would never have thought to put it together like that. GREAT JOB!!

  68. Margie

When I first started buying Stampin Up products, it was my priority to buy punches. I think that they are awesome. But I find that I don’t use them to their full potential. I LOVE the punch pages that you have been sharing with us. It gives me a new reason to pull those punches out and use them to their full potential. Thanks so much!

  69. Michelle Litwiller

I love your blog and I love the punch animals! I can’t wait to make some of my own…. Just waiting for those punches I ordered to come in now. Thanks!

  70. BigFan

Hi! Angie your crafts all so cute!!!!!!

  72. OMG! “Just a bunch of foam?”– that just tells you that they haven’t perfected the whole “crafting thing”… seriously I LOVE my chic stand – and the new improved size is AWESOME! You ought to see my first one… it’s all punched up and odd shape from all the use that I gave it on every side… please don’t let BAD comments shut you down… they haven’t used the Chic Stand right or found the correct usage for it just yet…. LOVE the punch animals… we’re making a full set – try making the horse into a zebra – it’s too cute!

  73. Liz A

Angie, you are so wonderful! It is so nice of you to give things away to those of us who drool over your ideas! I don’t have a chic stand, but my mom and I are considering getting one! Hope your hubby is back in the swing soon!

  86. Susan from Colorado

Oh Angie, how could anyone call your Chic Stand just a piece of foam???? The poor dear has no clue! I have two of your original Chic Stands. One for my sewing table and one for my stamping table. Even bought one for my daughter! Wouldn’t want to live without it. It is great for making any kind of whole.
I want your new one too … maybe I will buy one and put it in my Christmas stocking and act surprised when I open it…hee, hee, no one will know I bought it for myself! Love your blog and creative ideas. Thank-u

  87. Terilee Stokke

  89. Kay Mespelt

Hi- I would LOVE to win! I would also be interested in purchasing these punch pages. Thanks Hugs Kay

  90. Rebecca Krokowski

Ok..first the Chic Stand is awesome. No where near a ‘piece of foam.’ Makes putting in brads a piece of matter how small the brads are. I keep my paper piercer right in it. No more lost piercer or stabbing myself trying to find it. Will definetely be purchasing another one.
Second, I just want to say thank you. You have a wonderful website. I check it everyday (sometimes twice) You have the greatest ideas. Thank you for taking time and sharing your wonderful talents with us.

  91. Beth Stein

Angie, I check your blog on a daily basis. Your tutorials and punched animals are the best. My favorite is the lion. He’s so cute. Thanks for all the great ideas!!

Please don’t enter me in your draw…I just wanted to tell you how much I love my Chic Stand and You 😉

  108. Sharon

    Hi Angie;
I have the old chic stands (I think that I got 6) I use the paper piercer, and I find that the stands just keep falling over, and the piercer make large holes in it and then it wont hold fast. I have two stands left, so I am looking for some of the large needles like you use, and hope the stands will last longer.

  109. Carol

Thanks for the chance to win the pages. The animals are so cute! I hope everything is back to normal in your household soon.
    Take care.

  110. Maria

  113. Lyn

I use my chic stand for safely transporting my exacto knife and other sharp pointed objects. I feel safe knowing no one will get hurt at my workshops.
Your blog is one of the ones I check every day. Great work

  114. Pat V

I love the punched animals, they look so fun to make and I enjoyed watching your videos on how to make and assembly them. I bought a chic stand for myself and one for my daughter, we love it. I can always find my paper piercing tools now and use them more because they are right in front of me.

  115. Oh your punch critters are so cute! I really enjoy checking your blog for ideas. Thanks for sharing with us!

  116. I love your punch posts! As for the chic stand, I don’t have one yet, but have been contemplating ordering one. It looks so neat when I see you using it. Happy Memorial Day weekend and thanks for the chance to win.

  117. Angie,
I would LOVE a punch book….I would just be interested in the 8 pages of instructions/supplies….they are SO cute! I would be thrilled to win any of them!

  118. Judy Hopping

Angie – sorry for the duplicate post but I forgot to mention the chic stand. I have had it for sometime and use it all the time. I rarely use my 1/16″ punch anymore because hole placement is so much more precise with the chic stand. Love love it cause I absolutely can’t punch holes in an even line even with a template. Judy

  119. joyk

Love your cute punch “peeps”!! I also have your first chic stand and am still using it. It is simply the best! Great for piercing and also punching holes for and applying brads. Thanks Angie!

  120. Angela

    Hi Angie,
Hope Dave is feeling better…Don’t worry about us we will wait for your amazing projects that you share with us.

  121. Barbara

Oh, Angie….I would love to win your animals…your work amazes me..thanks for consideration

  122. THE CHIC STAND: I bought one because I had watched all your videos and saw it. I had been using the foam that is in the cricut tool kit. But I decided one day that i was getting the stand. I am now envied at my scrapbook weekends when I am putting brads or making tiny holes on my scallop. It was an awesome idea. Don’t listen to the negative comments you have made an awesome thing.

  123. I would love a copy of your Animal Punch Pages…I really want to try those!!! I totally understand about ‘intentions’ I haven’t posted on my blog in a while!

  124. MaryAnn Grove

yes, I have a chic stand. it is always right in fornt of me on my work table. couldn’t do with out it. no longer have to go through all the drawere looking for a paper piercer to be able to add just the right touch and finish a card. They make great gifts, I always get reminded that they are in constant use by the gals to whom I gave them..MaryAnn

  125. Cheri' LaEace

Your blog is now one of my favorites – literally I have it in my favorites. Your ideas are always so creative. Thank you for sharing.

  126. Darlene L

Happy Memorial Weekend to you! I am anxious to read all the Chic Stand feedbacks–I am thinking about buying them for some friends and myself this year when we have our little get-together in late July.

  127. Jane

Your punch pal pages are great. I would like to win them because my “to-do” list seems to grow instead of shrink.

  128. Jane Martin

Angie, your punch art animals are not only amazing, but they are also a wonderful tool to show others what else can be done with punches. I would love to win one!

    Jane M.

  129. I love the punch projects. I am wanting to do a kid’s craft day and this would be awesome to do with them. Your site has been such a help to me as a new Stampin’ Up demo. I have no one else to learn from other than the STampin’ Up website, but even that can be a bit overwhelming at first. You help me stay updated because I watch your site and learn what I need to do. Thanks for all you do, and congratulations on your goals met in the June Sucess Mag.

  130. Linda Carrell Davis

Thes animals are darling and inspire me to try to work on some others. Also the punch book is a great idea, I have actually adopted the idea for stamp sets, sissex punches, etc, so when I have an idea, I go to my binder first. I have made the lady bug, she is darling, and am going to try the lion today.

  131. pat

Angie its ok if you have a down time, heaven knows how you make time for all you do and raise a family…………..Have a Great Memorial Day………..patm

  132. Tonilea Snead

I would LOVE to have your pages on making the animals with punches. I am a punch fanatic and this would be SUPER. I am sorry I do not have the chic stand so cannot comment about that except to say it looks neat.

  133. Eileen McClean

  136. I would love to win your Punch give away.

As for your Chic Stand, I would hate to be without it! Ingenious! It’s one of those inventions that you stand back, scratch your head, and say, “Darn, wish I’d a thought of that.”

  137. Lise

My absolute favorite thing about the new and improved chic stand is it’s size. I am able to pierce the whole punched scallop all at one time!! Love those little punch animals :) I think I’ll be using the chic stand alot making those – can’t just make one!!

  138. Tara Berkey

Hello!! I love all the punch animals you have made so far….I’m actually making some of them this weekend and attaching them to the scallop bag from the Big Shot!! Really cute!! :o)

  139. JoAnne

    Hi! Angie,

Would love to win your 5 punch animal give away! They are so cute!! Keep up the good work.

  140. Eleanor

Hi Angie, Your “punched ” animals are adorable and I would love to win this prize!
I would also love to know if you ship to Canada? I’m a recent demo and find your site my favorite, so informative with simple steps to wonderful projects. Looking to get Chic stands to give as a bonus for my “girls”.

  141. Karen Gloster

Hello Angie. I would love for you to count me in for your animal punch givaway. As for your Chic Stand my wonderful girlfriend gave me one recently for a give and I LOVE it. They are perfect. Love your blog and check it everyday.

    Thank you,

  142. Sandy Curtis

Count me in fo the 5 pages! That would be great! I just started using your chic stand and I must say that it is more than “foam” It is so sturdy yet light and fits in so well on my craft table. I love it! Thanks for everything you do and have a great weekend!

    Sandy C

  143. Gitte

    Hi Angie,

I have almost all of SU’s punches and would love to have my very own little chick’n’scratch punch book and if I win, would you autograf it, please…. You’re one of 3 bloggers I MUST check daily, keep up the fabulous work!

  144. Veronica D

    Hello Angie,
The punched animals are adorable, all of them, and great for ask the young kids for help!, they enjoy a lot making these for themselves.
About the ChickStand, is the most useful tool I have. I got the small one a year ago, and now got the big one. The size is perfect. I use the small to keep my piercings in one place, and the big one for my craftings. They are always in my desk.

  145. Pattie B.

Your punched animals are so cute! Thanks for sharing all your creativity!

  146. Hi Angie,

I am always checking your site for cute ideas. Your videos are very clear and easy to follow. I would LOVE to have the pages for the punched animals. My favorite is the horse – it reminds me of my beloved Stoney.

  147. Jan G.

    Hi, Angie!

Thanks for the chance to win! I think all your punch animals are so adorable and would love to put them on my cards. I check your blog everyday! I’ve gotten many ideas and inspiration from you!

  148. Carol B

The animals are adorable. I can’t wait to use them on a card for my grandsons.

  149. I LOVE the idea of a punch book that you can look through to select an item and then see on the page the exact punches necesary to make the item. It’s like the cake idea book at a bakery.
I think people have more confidence when they see a finished product and also what is used to make that product. Punch figures are so great because they’re easy and beginners quickly gain confidence after making just one!

  150. Chic Stand “looks like foam” and may not be a “big deal”, but it is a little inconspicuous paper piercing tool that’s worth it’s weight in gold. I’ve tried different types of mats, different thicknesses of sponges, soft woods, stacking papers, and NOTHING works better at helping to pierce papers or set brads perfectly the first time than a Chic Stand. It’s one of those crafting tools that’s so simple in design, yet functional, easy to use, lightweight, easy to store and travel with, and a great conversation starter at crops and classes.

Hope the hubbie made it to the doctor and is feeling better real soon. Prayers and hugs.

  151. Nancy C.

I just love these cute little animals. I’m planning to make them with my granddaughters one day after school ends. They love doing arts and crafts and these will definitely keep them busy for awhile. Thanks so much!

  152. Okay, the thing about the Chic Stand is that it IS foam and that is the big deal!!!! It’s dense foam that allows you to keep all sorts of “poky” things safely in reach and easily found on your desk!!!!

  153. Susie

    Hi Angie,
I really love your Chic Stand because it is so easy to keep on my work space. It is just the right size and a great place to keep my piercing needle so that it never gets misplaced.
As for your punch art animals….LOVE THEM! How do you manage to have such creative ideas? You should package your creative spirit in a bottle and sell it! I would definitely buy it! Keep up the great work!

  154. Denise

Love the punch animals, what a great idea.

I have the original chic stand and loved it so much, that when you upgraded to a bigger one,I bought it. It is great when you are doing paper piercing, you can leave the needle in it (so, you can always find it). It takes up so little room, that you can leave it on your craft desk where it’s always available. When you see it, it reminds you to use paper piercing as a way to embellish your card. Sometimes what you don’t see you don’t use on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing your great ideas, and chicstand.

  155. Dawn Geier

Hi Angie I love the your punch animals and the idea of a punch book it awesome. You have so many great ideas.

I don’t have a chic stand but I would love one. Because I think they would make make stampin life much easier.

    Dawn Geier

  156. DeAnn Shirling

Your Chic Stand is great. The holes are accurately punched and keeps the tools in my sight to use.

I’m just getting into punch animals etc and love what you have done with the matchbox die which is one of my favorite dies.

  157. Charlene H.

I would love to win one of the animal punch books! They are absolutely adorable.

  158. Your Chic stand is great. The tools are right in my sight now and the holes are accurate. (wll, most of the time)I don’t have to worry that anyone will get stuck because the Chic Stand protects the points.

I’m just getting into punch animals etc and love the matchbox die so really liked your animals punches.

  159. missy

I would absolutely love to win the punch animals giveaway! My daughter loves animals of every kind so she would love to see how they are made using punches! Thanks for being so generous! Love your site!

  160. Nancy Park

I love your punched animals and would enjoy the pages. I have the original “Chic Stand”. I use it constantly. I have other foam pads but they are thin and don’t give the depth for brads to be held in place. I have given many your email as the Chic Stand travels with me to many many stamp classes and “stamp a stacks”.

  161. Nancy L.

I know I’ve said a lot of “change of plans” lately! Things happen, hope your Hubby gets better!

  162. Barbara Roberts

Your animals are adorable…your videos are awesome….great kits!

  163. Janet

The punch art critters are great! I love your display cards making it easy to gather materials and punch away.

  164. Susan G

I’d love to have your punch pages. I started a book for myself some time ago and intend to add your cute ones to it. They will be perfect for cards for my grand daughter when she’s just a little older.

  165. Charlene Williams

I absolutely LOVE your punch animals! They are simply adorable. You are so creative :)

  166. Lori Patrick

I don’t have your chic stand yet, but is something I’m considering for a future purchase, because you show-n-tell it so well! :)
Love your site, and I’d love to win your goodies. It’s totally making me want to purchase all the circle punches from SU.

Thanks, and have a great weekend!
    Lori P.

  167. Susan N.

  169. Paula

    Hi Angie,
So sorry to hear that your husband continues to be sick, I wish him the best and hope he is up and around very soon.

Well, I would love to win your punch pages for the five animals, they are cute.

I do not own a Chic Stand but plan on ordering one in the near future, right now I have to suffer through with a thin piece of foam and I keep hitting bottom, the thickness of your stand would be great and also the size would allow it to sit right on my table with my needle and piercer right there very handy to get at.

  170. Jan B.

Yeah, sure I’d like to win the instructions to these critters. I don’t have a ChicStand, so can’t comment on them.
    Have a great wkend.

  171. Angie, I LOVE my Chic Stand! It is cute, classy, and matches my SU products. And it works like a dream! I am adding so much more to my projects because I want to pierce everything. I am a new SU! demo and when I get my workshop set up I am going to get a Chic Stand for every workspace, complete with Angie’s needle & black gingham ribbon!
    This product ROCKS!

  172. Marcia Bidwell

I have both the older chic stand and purchased the new one as well, they are both
on my desk at all times. I know exactly where my piercers and needles are very convenient and functional for me.
Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  176. SAndy Porter

I have purchased your Chic Stand for myself and as gifts for friends. It makes working with the smaller brads so much easier and saves time. Having the bigger Chic Stand is a plus because you have more of a base to use with your projects.

Thanks for the chance to win!!!
    Karen :0)

  181. Deborah

Angie, thanks for the chance to win some “punch pages”. They are so cute. I also have a Chic stand, and I love it!! It is getting well used and will order another when the time comes.

    Debi Pippin

As for your chic stand- I do not own one. Yet. And I am not familiar with all the history behind how you started it. But I will be ordering soon. I am not sure what the material is but if it can hold up the needles and paper piercer as well as help set the brads it has got to be a WINNER!!!
    Thanks for sharing.
Hope your hubby gets well soon.

  189. mary jo

I’d love to win your punched animals–I’m partial to the bear but love them all!! I don’t own a chic-stand but think I would like one. Mary Jo

  192. Jean Fitch

Life has a way of messing up the best laid plans so don’t let it get you down. You are a lovely and generous lady to share so much of your creativity with all us greedy gus’s and gussies who so often only comment when candy is on the line. 😀

You’ve worked hard to make the Chic stand the terrific product it is so let the naysayers go (they’ll always be with us) and the rest of us will be happy to be your unofficial sales force as we share it with the stampers around us.

Hugs and blessings and thanks for being here in the blogosphere – Jean

  193. SouthernStorm

Love your little punch outs and your book is a great, time-saving idea! Love it!!
Don’t have Chic Stand but it’s on my wish list. May God bless!

  194. kathynruss

When I first saw the video on the Chic Stand, I had to have it and even bought two so I’d have a spare. I’ve always had problems putting in eyelets, but no more. If something needs pierced, out comes my Chic Stand. I know there’s a new one out, but they’ll have to pry my old one from my cold dead fingers!

  195. Angie,
I love watching your videos and the great project ideas you come up with. Thanks for sharing all of your great talent with us!

  196. Angie,
Love your punch animals, the cutest idea I have seen so far. I would love to give them as gifts. Love all your tutorials, learn so much from them. I have the original Chic Stand, wish I bought more, I love that one. If I could, I would give one to all my stamp class members. Times are a little tough right now. Hope it all works out for you. Many Blessings to you and our family. Relax and enjoy them when you can.

  197. Who wouldn’t love to receive the punch page tutorials…they’re fantastic.

The Chic stand is amazing. The chic stand is thick which allows you to really pearce a whole in your cardstock something you can not do with the mat pack. I also like that once I pierce the whole in my cardstock I can remove the paper piercer and insert my brad in the exact same spot which works great when there is more than one layer of cardstock. Safety is important so I also love that I can store my paper piercer in the chic stand which acts as a protection cap and as well it acts as a stan for my paper piercer and is at my finger tips on my work station.
What’s not to love!? It is a must need tool.

  198. debbie

i dont have a chic stand but eventually would like one also love your site and would love the punch animals too. love your site.

  199. Pam

I love your punch art animals. They are great. I’m going to sign up to follow your blog daily. I love your blog. Keep up the wonderful work. Thanks for the chance to win.

  200. Betty-Ann

I’m really into doing punched creations these days. Thanks for sharing! I’ve been involved in a couple of on-line classes where we download PDF files and watch the videos of the projects if we wish. For me, usually just seeing the finished product is enough then I can go do it myself, but some are more complicated so having the PDF and video helps.

  201. Cyndi_b

Hope Dave is better :) I love your site and visit it daily. Your work is lovely and inspirational. Happy Memorial Day!

  202. Hope Dave feels better soon! I love all your tutorials. They always give me such good ideas!

  203. Lisa Depencier

We all know what it is like when the time gets away on you! I think the Chic stands are great. Do not worry about what other people think.

  204. Love those punch animals!!! I can’t believe that people leave remarks like that. I don’t have a Chic Stand, I can clearly see the benefit in one.

  217. Crystal Bishop

I love love the punch pages. Please add me to the drawing. I have your chic stand…. I must say I use the piece of foam frequently. I use to place buttons and brads. I received cash from my daughters for Easter and I took it an ordered a chicstand. I love it. It sits on my desk with my needle in it. It makes so easy to punch holes. It is durable. It is so much easier to use than a punch.

Your projects rock! I love visiting your site daily to see what new items you create. I love the punch animals. A great way to use some of my punches that capture dust at times.

Please don’t let negative comments get to you. I have a Chic Stand. I don’t know how I got by without it. I use it all the time!
