This is my Blessing Mix Box for 2015  … or is it a Bag?

I used Tangelo Twist card stock that measures 8-1/2 x 11 to make it and there’s no stamps or ink required …but you will need a printer. 

I printed the Blessing Mix Poem on Whisper White Card Stock and then cut it out with the Circle Framelits (I used the 3-1/2″ circle).

I decorated the bag with the Into the Woods Elements and some Happy Haunting Washi Tape on the Clothespin.

Here’s the Blessing Mix Poem.

Blessing Mix
The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia,
a horn of plenty.
The Pretzels represent arms folded in
Thanks & Prayer.
The Candy Corn reminds us that during
the first winter, the pilgrims were allowed
only five kernels of corn per day
because the food was scarce.
The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving
is the celebration of the harvest.
The Peanuts represent seeds,
the potential of the bounteous harvest of the next season if they are planted and well tended.
