Christmas Cards...

I need to make 20 cards a day to finish by December 12th (the day I want to mail them).  But I'm thinking... should I also mail those 20 every day... or wait until I have all of them ready?  The reason for waiting is... that would be one heck of a picture.  But... where will I keep 400+ cards? I must think on this a little more!

12 Days of Christmas

I'm editing Day 5 of the12 Days of Christmas and I will either post it this afternoon... or tomorrow morning.

It never fails, things go on sale AFTER I have purchased them all at FULL price. Oh well. Look forward to the next 12 Days of Christmas.

Angie, hate to admit this, but I buy my envelopes in bulk from a different source…sorry. Stampin Up envelopes rock, but I make lots of cards, and cut a corner to go a bit cheaper and bought 1,000 envelopes a year ago or so and kept the boxes they came in. As I use the envelopes, I keep the boxes to hold the cards I make ahead. I use a pencil and write the contents and amount on the box lid. I do put the lid on the box so the cards stay dust free, as I do make lots of cards over summer vacation (I am a teacher). Then, when Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas arrive, I have my cards made and I just need to write my personal message and address the envelopes! So, my suggestion would be to store your cards in your envelope boxes, if you have any. Or what about a photo box? I sometimes make some cards without having a recipient in mind and just store the cards in the photo box. Or what about a Christmas decoration that could double as a card holder? I once held my Halloween cards in one of my kid’s plastic trick or treat buckets to carry the cards to school. Plus it was festive to take the Halloween bucket with me through the halls to the office to deliver the cards and candy. I think a 400+ card photo would be awesome! Though, 20 cards a week is easier on the stamps purchase…Either way, I think it’ll be great! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
