Facebook Friday #7 Project

facebookfriday7b

This is the box that we made last week during Facebook Friday #7.

I made it using the Layering Squares Framelits and it's made exactly like the one I made in January 2011, using the Scallop Square Die.  Click here if you would like to check it out.

I used Soft Sky card stock with the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack.  I used two stamp sets, Avant Garden from the Sale a Bration Catalog and All Things Thanks from the Occasions Catalog.

To give it a little bling, I stapled the Gold ribbon in the corner.  I LOVE the 3/8 Metallic Ribbon in the Sale a Bration Catalog.

I'll be sharing a Valentine version later this week!!!

Cute! I might change mine up a bit – instead of the staple for that cute little ribbon, I might use a glue dot and use some enamel dots or rhinestones in that area to decorate it just a smidge more. Putting that flower behind the Thanks part is such a fun touch. I forget about doing such. Thanks for another great video tutorial.

Just a suggestion to get the backing off tear-n-tape – try the pokey tool.
