Fold Flat Box

The project I'm sharing with you today is my Fold Flat Box that holds a Chic Stand and so much more!

I used Coastal Cabana card stock to make this box ... with the Darling Label Punch Box. If you're a fan of our Stampin' Up! punches ... this one is a must have!!   You'll need three pieces of card stock:  4-7/8 x 4-7/8, 8-1/2 x 3-1/4 and then a scrap for the stitched square.

After I stamped the image with Memento Ink I colored the flowers with the Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blend Marker and the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend Marker.  I'm so happy that both are back in stock!!

The designer series paper you see on the top of the box is the Brights Collection of the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the stitched Coastal Cabana square and the Layering Squares Framelits for the scallop square.

Here's the video tutorial.... If you're reading this in your email box, please CLICK HERE to watch the video on my website (the watch video button doesn't work).

Oh these boxes are so clever. And the new purple colors from Stampin Up really makes me happy.
I love purple colors so much that I bought it in color box, staz-on, memento, brutus-Monroe, lawn fawn, and a few more. I must get the new colors from Stampin Up. I think that will make a great add on to my collection, don’t you think?
    Take care Angle,
    Pat from Arkansas

    • Angie

absolutely!! I’m not sure which purple I love best …Highland Heather or Gorgeous Grape?

  6. Megan Sampson

    These boxes are adorable!!

  7. Carol Valentine

The box and the chic stand are both adorable.

When putting the brad in, couldn’t you put the chic stand inside the box (if you had one) and pierce thru the circle card stock and box card stock easier? Not as flimsy trying to pierce a hole thru the card stock.

    • Angie

      Hi Carol,
Yes, you can … I showed that in my video of this same box back in 2010 (wow that was 8 years ago). I didn’t this time because I didn’t want people to think they had to buy a Chic Stand… but, I’d be happy to sell them one πŸ™‚ Here’s the link to my old video: link to
